What is the Best Energy Efficient Monitor

Hello , I need to get a monitor that is energy efficient but no bad on the eye. Does anyone know of a good energy efficient monitor that has really great resolution .

What is the Best Energy Efficient Monitor

I think one of the monitor that is energy efficient is the Energy Star monitor. But there are lots of models to choose from. I will mention some of the best energy saving monitors from Energy Star.

1. Samsung SyncMaster 305T – It is the 30-inch (76-centimeter) monitors that is commonly used by computer designers and when the monitor is active, you will consume small amount of electricity, when in sleep mode you will consume not more than 4 watts and when in off mode you will consume not more than 2 watts only.

2. Philips 150S7 – This monitor is best for home use since it is only 15-inch monitor. You will consume 12.8 watts when in use, and 0.8 watts when in sleep and off mode.

3. Lenovo D185 Wide – An 18.5-inch screen that is ideal for watching videos or movies. It consumes 13.8 watts when active and 0.44 and 0.33 watts when in sleep and off modes.

4. eMachines E17T6W – 17-inch monitor screen. It consume 16.4 watts when active and consume at least 0.68 and 0.63 when in sleep and off mode.

5. Dell G2210t – 22-inch monitor that consumes 22 watts when active and 0.12 watts when in sleep and off mode.
