I need to try and recover a hard drive before I reinstall everything. Does anyone know the best recovery software there is.

the URL above contain the most significant software solutions that is related to data recovery process it contains the top 10 programs that is ranked recently in this year personally i prefer a program called Data Rescue PC because of it's simple UI and functionality and it is really credible program it supports FAT (a variety of types) and NTFS type file systems

There are plenty of good data recovery software to choose from:

• Stellar Data Recovery Services (Win/Mac/Linux)
• Krollon Track (Win/Mac/Linux)
• TestDisk (Win/Mac/Linux)
• Recuva

I would advise you to read software reviews, try the demo version first then buy it.
