I need suggestions for what is the best Privacy software for Linux, as I am looking at surfing the internet anonymously and therefore I would like privacy.

I know there are many tools for privacy for free but I am unable to find the best,

So I need some help.

What is the best known privacy software for linux?

Freenet and Tor are two software which help maintain online privacy.  What’s more, is that the two are readily available and free of cost.  Both are GNU/Linux based.  Torr recommends  use of firefox which actually gives the user the facility of turning of Tor on and off based on convenience.  A button is embedded in firefox to facilitate this.
