What is the best photo rotate and crop software available?

I have used Adobe Photoshop and Arcsoft Photoshop for editing my photos. And I am looking for more that is best on rotating and cropping photos aside from the two software mentioned. Please include the minimum system requirements needed and it should work on my Apple MacBook Pro.  It does not need to be special, as long as it works well. Thanks.

Hello ruthprobertson,

For home use nothing very professional, a simple yet effective and reliable software i would recommend is Picasa, simply because it is powerful yet very user friendly at the same time. It also has a mac version so you won’t be encountering any compatibility issues with it.

The system requirements are:
Intel, OS X 10.5 or later

Hi,

I highly recommend Rotation Pilot software. This is a free version and is compatible with any Operating System. It has automatic fix, easy to use, with tools for rotating, resizing and mirroring photos. 

It’s very simple to use as you do not need to calculate how many degrees should your images be rotated. Furthermore it has an auto-cropping and quick image resizing. 

Another software that I find useful is BlazedPhoto. It allows you to manage, edit, share and view your images from your storage computer. It also has an editor that lets you rotate, flip, resize, crop, remove red eye, adjust brightness, etc. 

However this software is not free. You need to purchase it for $29.95. The supported images are the following: TIFF, TIF, GIF, PNG, BMP, JPEG, JPG, ICO, EMF, WMF
