What is the best short url script?

As a website owner or an administrator in a specific business online website I have to facilitate everything from the website management down to everything that allows important data to come into the database.

I hope you can give me the best way to make url shortening in a proper way.

Please help me.

What is the best short url script?

There are services which not only make URLs short but more traceable and readable.

Some additional features are offered, these include password-protecting, custom URLs etc.

Although there are a number of URL shortening services available but one may want to make their own URL shorter.

Here are some scripts which are useful to make a URL shorter:

Shorty is a‘URL shortener script’ built in PHP/MySQL. It has an admin interface where we can edit/delete links & view the number of clicks.

TightURL is made in PHP/MySQL. It has spam control feature.
