Hello Experts,

What is the best way to open Sid files free? I need an application that will allow to open a Sid file format. I am wishing for your help regarding this issue for I have 30 Sid file format and I need to open it on a safe and secured application for no fee. I hope you can help me get this done as soon as possible.

What is the best way to open sid files free?

The extension SID can be appended to a lot of different files. It can stand for an audio file from Commodore 64 or a backup of a stream game. But usually it is a packed image. If you want to open a SID image, you can download the free image view on downloaded CHIP

What is the best way to open sid files free?

Hi kimberly Walker,

You can use MrSID viewer to view your sid files. You can download it form the network and you will be able to see your files. This application is available online for free to download. You can also convert your files to another format and for this purpose you can download SID converter 5.9 that is also available on the network.

The best way to open the said file is filesucare. This application will do a work around for the file for you and let you know the  program that is best fit to open the file. Below are some applications that will help you to open said file format.

1. Mrsid image

2. Steam game data backup file

3. Side audio file
