The binary number, in computer science and mathematics, is a base-2 numeral system or simply binary numeral system that is represented by two numeric values or symbols, 0 and 1. The binary system is applied internally by roughly all modern computers and or computer-based devices like the mobile phones or Smartphones because of its uncomplicated application in digital electronic circuitry by means of logic gates.
The first known account of binary numeral system was by Pingala, an Indian scholar about 5th – 2nd centuries BC, who developed mathematical ideas for describing prosody. He presents binary numbers in the form of long and short syllables. The long syllable is equivalent to two short syllables which is a lot similar to Morse code.
What a huge knowledge you have presented. The binary number system invented 1679 by scientist Gottfried Leibniz, Binary easily used for reviewing higher level reasoning, serious thinking, and logic skills more dependable than other selected-response items which are difficult for students and efficient for teachers. As a technology student the binary system was obviously one of the mathematical systems I had to learn. You guys make my head hurt, I don`t acquire it at all, as well as I believe myself to be above average intelligence. I in fact don`t understand at all. I am self-taught, which I am thankful for, as I didn`t have a liberal ideology burned into my head. But I will keep visiting up on this; it is actually interesting to me. To Sharath, you are providing a brief definition about the binary and provide a simple way to understand a lot of things. Thanks guys for stretched your hand in helping me. I really appreciated, indeed so many information helps me to enrich my knowledge.
