What can I do to have player AVI in Access 2010?

Hallo there! I have been working on an application in Microsoft Access 2010 using databases and forms. I have tried to incorporate AVI files to be able to play when someone opens some particular forms but they have totally failed to play without giving any error alerts. Is there anything that I need to do to have the AVI files play?

What can I do to have player AVI in Access 2010?

Hello,

Avi is a container format and therefore it could be the codec that you are using that could be the cause of the avi's not playing. Try using the mpeg4 or the xvid codec.

Mpeg2 is a video format that is compatible with both PC and Mac computers and can play on just about any device that is capable of playing video files.
