What causes “can’t properly load database template” error?

Hi,

Whenever I try to run my  NUUO software, a  video recording software or some kind of  surveillance software that I use, I'm getting the "can't properly load database template" error message.

How do I get rid of this error?

Can't properly load database template.  Please re-install the system to solve this problem.

What causes “can’t properly load database template” error?

Hello there,

NUUO has a know issue against User Account Control. This is a new technology implemented starting Windows Vista. This is also a good feature because, it prevents Malware from compromising the operating system. That is because only trusted applications can have administrative privileges. In order to run NUUO you have to compromise this security feature. You need to disable the User Account Control.

To disable the User Account Control:

1. From control panel, go to User Accounts and Family Safety.

2. Go to User accounts and click Change user Account Control Settings.

3. Drag down the level to Never notify.
