1.  Computer is an machine which is used for storing, organizing and finding words, numbers and pictures, for doing calculations and for controlling other  machines such as PC, computer software/hardware, computer graphics, computer program etc.

What is the classification of this machine(computer)?

What is the classification of the Computer?

Hi, 

your question is not clear, if you want to know what is computer , so it is, 

computer can be a PC , a mac , and you classification need to take in assumption the difference between them, which is within the structure of the processor, so while a PC works with the an Intel processor based on the ARM architecture, a mac work on a SPARC processor. 

if i assume that you want to know the classification of the monitor , so it is considered to be an output hardware which is related to the central processing unit CPU , and its usage is to provide the user with the results of the treatment of the CPU .

What is the classification of the Computer?

Hi,

Different types of computers are available today due to the development of the technologies. Now, all computers use microprocessor as CPU so it is possible to classify only through their mode of use.

Though I classified computer separately according to their Size,Technology and Purpose. At first according to size computers are classified as supercomputers, minicomputers, mainframe computers, laptop computers, workstations and personal computers.

Secondly computers are classified by technology as analog computers, digital computers and hybrid computers. Finally according to purpose computers are classified as general purpose computers and special computers.
