I have an interest infrared communications and I have been interested in this technology, what is the new release in the infrared technology and what is the connections speeds? What other new features has been incorporated in this newer version.? I How can one infrared device disassociate from the other like the Bluetooth pairing for instance?

A new IR model is developed to transfer data in a high rate of 1 GB per second, which is much more faster than Wi-Fi & Bluetooth and even six times active than wired USB 2.0 connections.
