What defines safety after crash test dummy software calculations on the various measurements? For example, what is measured, what is calculated, what are the restrictions in order to have a reasonable level of safety (such as the maximum acceleration rate of a body part before constraint of seatbelt) and how can safety be increased in a vehicle? One example might be when using Kistler test products.

What defines safety after crash test dummy software calculations?

Hi Gregory,

                Safety after car crash test computes the Frontal Offset test; this simulates hitting another car with the same speed. Side Impact test, this simulates hitting from the side. Pole Impact, this mostly checks the side airbags. Pedestrian test, this simulates hitting a pedestrian from the side. Whiplash test, this simulates head restraint and test with seat mounted. Roof crash test, this simulates roll over crash.
