What is the difference between Type Tool and Notes Tool?

I'm using Adobe Photoshop. I use it to edit my photos and it is a very good software for photo editing in my opinion. I want to find out the difference between type tool and note tool. What are each of the above mentioned tools used for in above mentioned program.

What is the difference between Type Tool and Notes Tool?

Type tool is used when you want to add a text message. To select the type tool simply hit the T button on your keyboard and click the area of the document where you want your text to appear

The note tool enables you to attach your notes to you picture.
