DD on Starcraft it an abbreviation or jargon. Well you see DD means: don't die it a short and good advice on that game.

What do DD star craft burning ground mines

The acronym “DD” stands for “Don’t die”. You can usually see this in most of online real-time strategy games like Star craft. In Final Fantasy XI, “DD” means “Damage-Dealer”. If your character has the ability to cast different spells, DD could also mean “Direct Damage” when casting offensive spells on the enemy.

This is almost similar to “DOT” or Damage Over Time. Actually, you could expect a different meaning with the letters “DD” on different games because of the different terminology used on the game. This is important in every game especially in an online game to give names to different attack styles, defense styles, battle strategy, character ability, and others. One terminology used in one game may have a different meaning on another game.
