Hi Lakshanj,

A 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error is actually an HTTP Status code telling you that particular web site's server is down or unavailable. Reasons that cause these servers to go down or unavailable could be to the sheer load of traffic that is trying to access the website, another could be because of maintenance by the administrators of the web site.

The 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error is a server-side error so more often than not it is the web site's server that is the problem, though the error could be caused by some anomalies from your computer but that is highly unlikely.

Solutions in fixing this error are rather simple.

  1. Most of the time refreshing the URL alone would fix this error since 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable are usually just temporary.
  2. Another solution would be to come back to the site at a different time as traffic caused from a large amount of users may be overwhelming the site's servers causing it to go down.
  3. If the problem is from your computer, restarting your router and computer should do the trick. To tell if the error was generated from your computer you should see a "Service Unavailable – DNS Failure" error.

Hope this helped you out with your problem.

Regards

If you happen to see this error when visiting a particular website, try refreshing the page. Press F5 to refresh the page normally or CTRL + F5 to force refresh. If this doesn’t work, try visiting a different website to see if your internet connection is working. If the problem is with your connection, try restarting the router if your computer is connected to a Wi-Fi router.

If your router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 to 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.

When the router is ready, try the website again then see if it works. If the problem continues, visit the website again after several hours.
