Hello fellow Techyv members. I'm trying to input data on Access but I keep on getting Runtime Error 6. What does Run Error 6 mean? I'm on a Windows XP 64 bit SP2 system and Microsoft Access 2010. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
What does Run Error 6 mean?
Hi Dorothy,
This only means that there's an overflow in your data. The variable that you entered the value can't get hold due to its enormous size thus this error appeared. A surplus of data or processes has been running at one instance.
To resolve this issue, you should check the line in the Access which the query failed to execute. From there, you need to modify the variable type you are using for each input.
