I am trying to learn about Websites and other stuff related to them. I came across a term named “Domain Name.” I want someone to tell me about Domain Name and give an Example of a Domain Name.

What Is Domain Name? Need An Example Of A Domain Name.

Hello,

Domain Names of a Website are used for identifying on or more Internet Protocol Addresses. The Domain Names uniquely recognize the Sites. Uniform Resource Locators use the Domain Names to make out particular Websites.

Each Domain contains a Top Level Domain at its end. The examples of these Top Level Domains are gov, com, in, edu, etc.

In the URL www.techyv.com, techyv is the Domain name.
