What is this error message “ Error 1706 “

Hi guys , I'm getting an error “Error 1706 : no valid source could be found,When Installing MSI File from Removable Media ” when I try to install Microsoft Office onto my computer , can anyone explain me what should I do?

What is this error message “ Error 1706 “

May I ask if you are trying to install Microsoft Office using a CD? The reason for asking this is because when a user gets an error 1706 no valid source could be found for product x (whatever the product being installed is) it means that we need to provide the original installation file for the system. In any case, if you are using a CD or not and the issue persists, I would suggest that you try to download the software online through http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/default.aspx. Also, you may uninstall the application first from your system and reinstall it after rebooting your computer. To help you in uninstalling your Microsoft Office and reinstalling it you may go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/290301for further assistance.
