Webcams are gaining popularity these days and many of us use it for various purposes. I want to find out the features of next gen webcams. What can we expect in the new webcams which will be released in the coming 3 years? Will they support 3D interaction? What else will they have?

What to expect in next gen Webcams?

Next generation laptops, cars, motorbikes, mobiles all have extremely new features like in web cam, new generation webcam will able to recognize gestures of human face or body. It will also include hardware acceleration, 3D web chatting and image-sensor design. Players are able to play games with this webcam. 

 

Microsoft is working on this technology under the name of i2i. You will also able to replace your messy room/office background to a suitable chosen image.
