I just heard about paid live service that Google has called Google helpouts. Can I have detailed information on how this works. From start to end. With payment info and steps to pay etc

What is Google helpouts and is this for real?

Google Helpouts is a service that connects people via live video feed to the people who can help them perform something.

E.g. If you need help with cooking some sort of pasta you can search on 'Google Help Out'. You can choose from wide list of currently available help outs to Helpouts that can be scheduled at your convenient time. The help outs are offer further selection among paid and free services.

The help out that ask payment, utilize Google Wallet service (other payment methods are not available), to access your card for the agreed payment between helper and help receiver. The payment is done at the end of the Helpouts session. And in case you are dissatisfied with the Helpouts, it offers 100% money back.

 

Now you can also use this to provide help outs free or paid. For the paid Helpouts to receive the payment you will need 'Google Merchant billing service' in 'Google Wallet', as it is the only payment gateway service accepted for now.
