I am a HBO subscriber. Recently HBO has launched some HBO go application. I want to know what is it about and how it is useful for HBO subscribers. Can anyone tell me details of it.

The HBO GO is a streaming service for online users which is included with a person's subscription to HBO. This service lets you watch over 1400 HBO movies as well as shows directly on your computer without any additional charge. In order to subscribe to this service, you must subscribe to it here, from DIRECTV.
In case you have already subscribed to HBO, you will need to follow the steps below:

First you will access

After you have clicked on a title of the movie that you want to watch, you will need to sign up.

Just click "Sign up", and then enter "DIRECTV" as your TV provider and then follow the instructions.

Once you have signed up successfully, the movie you have chosen will start.

What is HBO go ?
“HBO Go” is a kind of “TV everywhere” service offered by HBO, the American premium cable network which is owned by Time Warner subsidiary Home Box Office, Inc. that was first launched on February 18, 2010. This new service allows HBO subscribers to stream video on demand selections of HBO content.
This includes current and past series, films, sporting events, and specials either via the HBO website or using apps on mobile devices, digital media players, and video game consoles. This is the successor to the “HBO on Broadband” originally launched in January 2008 to Time Warner Cable customers in Milwaukee and Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The programming content available on the service consists of HBO original TV films (includes 130 movie titles that rotate monthly), 400 hours of feature, specials, and original series that can be downloaded to computers at no extra cost for HBO subscribers.
To be able to access content on HBO on Broadband, users should be a digital cable customer that had subscription to HBO and used the cable company as their Internet Service Provider.
