The main factors of graphics software packages are:

(i) Your operating system on which you are going to use this package.

 

(ii) It also depends on your level of expertise.

 

(iii) Documentation of user.

 

(iv) Your type of work for which you are going to use it. There many categories like anime and magna style, technical drawings, 3D modeling and animation etc.

 

(v) You should also consider the supports to use this package, which is also a main factor of such packages.

 

(vi) Here, you should not confuse with open source and free license in the package licensing. Open source are created by communities and free license is owned by a specific company.
