What is IP address and how to find IP
Hi John Paul281112,
Every device that is connected to the network using the TCP/IP protocol (transmission control protocol/internet protocol) requires an IP address. Every individual in an organization has a unique employee ID by which the rest of the organization identifies him. An IP address is a 32-bit binary number that is unique for each device.

A bit is the smallest unit of information on a computer. The value of a bit is either 0 or 1.All the other devices or computers in the network identify a device using the IP address. There are five types of IP address i.e Class A(1.0.0.0 to 126.0.0.0),B(128.0.0.0 to 191.254.0.0),C(192.0.1.0 to 223.255.254.0),D(224.0.0.0 to 239.0.0.0),E(240.0.0.0 to 255.0.0.0).

What is IP address and how to find IP
Hi John paul29112,
IP address is abbreviated as Internet Protocol address it is a numerical label assigned to each device which is connected to a Network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. It is used to identify the device and also it is the address given to that device. There are two versions of IP [Internet Protocol] are in use IPv4 and IPv6. IPv4 is a 32-bit Number and IPv6 is 128 bits. Due to the Enormous growth in Internet IPv6 was introduced.
To find out the IP address of your system:

What is IP address and how to find IP
Hi John,
Thanks for sharing your question here.
You want to know about IP Address.
IP Address is an acronym of Internet Protocol. So it is an address which recognizes our computer on internet.
Or IP is the address of our computer on the internet.
IP address consists on 12 Characters and 3 Dots.
like 192.168.100.120
You can check IP address by two methods. First way is to go to Command prompt.
Type CMD in Run and press enter then type ipconfig.
Your IP address will be shown to you. But it is not public IP it is the IP which your ISP has assigned you by DHCP.
If you want to check your public IP then type "What is My IP" or "IP Address" in google.
Or simply go to here
It will show you your public IP address
Thanks
