What Is Meant By Document Comparison Software?

Document comparison is also called redlining or black-lining, It is a computer-based process through which modifications are spotted between two different versions of the similar document. It is used for editing and reviewing the document.

The document comparison software is used to compare a reference document with a source document and results in a third document which shows the information which is added to or deleted from the mentioned reference document in the process of producing the target document.
