Document viewers are the programs or software which can be used by various kinds of people to view different of documents used by people in day to day lifes. What Is Microsoft Document Viewer And Details.

If you are referring to Microsoft Word Viewer, it is a freeware application designed for Microsoft Windows that can display and print Office Word documents. It allows text from an Office Word document to be copied to the clipboard and pasted into a word processor. The last version of the Microsoft Word Viewer is compatible with Office Word 2007.

According to Microsoft, Microsoft Word Viewer will be retired in November 2017. After this period, the application will no longer receive security updates or can even be downloaded. Based on the license terms of Microsoft Word Viewer, you can install and use the application only to view and screen print documents created with Microsoft Office and cannot be used for any other purposes.

Ordinary users may only distribute the application if it is accompanied by a file created with Microsoft Office to allow the person to view and print the file.
