When I try to run the AutoCAD installer, I get a prompt with the title – acad.exe – entry point not found. Is there any solution to this?

What Is The Solution For The Acad.exe – Entry Point Not Found?

You get the error acad.exe – entry point not found when there are some other instances of AutoCAD in your PC. There are two possible solutions –

Method 1

a. Locate the folder where AutoCAD was previously installed.
b. Delete that folder.
c. Press Windows + R.
d. Type temp and press enter.
e. Delete all the files and folders here.
f. Click on Skip All if some contents cannot be deleted.

Method 2

a. Go here
b. Perform a Clean uninstall.
c. Go here
d. Download the software.
e. Run the tool.
f. After doing the above two activities, restart your device.
g. Run the installer.
