There are several reasons for getting the 0x81000202 error. Let’s see the solution –

Method 1 

1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
2. Type gpedit.msc and press enter.
3. Go to Computer Configuration\Administrative Template\System\System Restore.

1. There is an option named Turn off System Restore. Set it to Not Configured.
