What it costs to fix gadgets like iPhones and iPads

The truth being there are no fix prices on fixing IPhones and IPads. The prices all depends on the model, the damage done and how much the person fixing it is willing to charge.  

Nevertheless, I will give you a rough estimate of prices. Products from apple basically have a one year guarantee on them, when this year is up it is recommended to replace that phone. Apple does warn against tampering with their products and only a certified profession should be allowed to fix their products.

Let’s say your screen is broken and you need to fix it. It costs around $40 – $50 to get a new screen, however the most it would cost to repair an IPhone or an IPad, for example it was to be sunken under water; $160. So, to prevent any future damage, it is recommended to buy a protective case and keep phone from water and in the safest place possible.

Hi Ma McKinneys,

I appreciate you for asking that question in this site. Your asking about on how much it cost to fix iPhone and IPad.

I agree with Michelle it depends on how big or small the damage is. But for minor damages you will just spend less. If your gadget  is still under warranty you can claim for it for repair and replacements of your gadget under terms and conditions they set.

The best thing to do is to call the customer service of the manufacturer so that you will know what do and will not mislead you elsewhere.
