Hello expert,

I am using an older version of computer and I want to upgrade or buy another desktop computer with a good processor speed and wherein I can really rely on in heavy duties. What is the latest processor and version? Can you give me some advice and suggestion that will help me a lot to pick the best one I am willing to purchase one.

Hi Pamela,its good you have asked that question and I will be glad to help you. 

The latest version of processor is the intel core i7 processor and the greatest from intel. It is very reliable compared to the other type of processors because it has an Intel-Turbo Boost  Technology and also other features such as intel hyper-threading technology and Integrated Memory Controller. It also has a smart cache and Virtualization Technology

There is also the dualcore version based on the 17 architecture (havendale). Socket of LGA1160
