I need a light notebook. I was hoping somebody knew who makes the lightest and thinnest notebook that there is.

What is the lightest Ultrabook

Hello, there buddy upon researching the lightest ultra book that I have found for you is the MacBook Air this very high tech MacBook weight only 2.38 while the usual weight of the other ultra book is 2.5. What is the lightest Ultrabook

Hi,

There’s a recently launched Ultrabook, Gigabyte X11. It's surprisingly only weighing 972g and its wedge shape design ranges from only 3-16 mm. This 11-inch laptop claims the title of the world’s lightest Ultrabook.

Lenovo also has their Ultrabook offering, Thinkpad X1 Carbon. It’s a bit bigger with a 14-inch screen. It weighs only 1.7 kilos and with a thickness of 0.7 inches. This machine is already powered by Intel’s newest 3rd generation Ivy Bridge.

They will just fight over which has the best specifications.

What is the lightest Ultrabook

Dear User,

There are so many, in that category.

And apple surely has mastered it. Here are few Ultra books

1. Apple MacBook Air with 0.68 inch thickness and 2.96lbs

2. Samsung Series 5 with 0.69 inch thickness and 3.24lbs

3. Toshiba Portege with 0.3 – 0.6 inch thickness and 2.4lbs

What is the lightest Ultrabook

Hi Danny,

The Toshiba Portege Z835 is the lightest at 2.4 pounds The ultra book sells at the price of $799.

For the future:

Lenovo Think Pad X1Carbon whose total weight less than 3 pounds-release – August 21 2012

Lavie Z. The notebook is the lightest notebook in the world and only weighs 875 grams. Release date-August 232012.
