I was trying to connect my wii to the internet the other day and I was asked repeatedly for my MAC address. What is a MAC address? What is it used for other than the Wii? I noticed that MAC addresses are found on many devices such as mobile phones and tablets. Can anyone tell me why?

MAC address show on mobile devices and any other devices because when we want to connect a mobile to some any other device then we use a MAC address
