How does a macro work and what is its main purpose. Do you use macros on a regular basis? If you do use macros frequently, could you please tell me why you find them useful and which particular tasks would require the use of macro? Which features did you modify in a macro before using it?

What is a Macro and How Useful is it?

Macros are short programs you write to automate routine tasks. The commands that are build to execute a program or any task are Macros. The task may be anything like sending or receiving a request which is made by user or sending the information.

Macros are helpful in:-



1. Reduce the number of keystrokes and mouse clicks by running repetitive processing steps automatically

2. Standardize procedures to reduce errors and inconsistencies

3. Decrease staff time required for routine tasks
