What Microsoft Windows Software tool?

Hi, a third-party software was installed and infected the computer therefore a display was reported that outcome.  The report could be found in a log file.  The name of the log file was mrt.log in folder of %WINDIR% debug folder.

Is there any MS software tool that could be used to check the operating system and erase any infections?  Anyone could help me to fix this?

What Microsoft Windows Software tool?

To solve the problem trying restoring the computer to a previous configuration by starting the computer and pressing on F8, click the option of last known working configuration. This will repair the computer if you did any changes. You can also try repairing windows by doing reinstalling windows using the windows XP CD and clicking on R when setup begins. After this, the error will not repeat again.
