Since Mailbox is now owned by Dropbox and its version has been updated to 2.0, what are the notable improvements of it now? Does it come with any security concern? If I am going to use Mailbox, do I need to install Dropbox too? Does it finally have exchange support?

Hi,

I am going to answer your questions one by one.

Along with some bug fixes and attachment improvement, Mailbox 2.0 has come up with two new features – Auto – Swipe and Dropbox Syncing. In this version, Mailbox will now remember your common gestures of doing an action. It also offers Dropbox syncing preferences along with iCloud to sync data from various devices.

There was a rumor that all Emails pass through the Dropbox server. However, Mailbox authority denied this, saying that no Email is stored on the server for a long time and they don't sell any information to third parties. Whether you will trust them is up to you.

You don't necessarily have to install Dropbox in order to use Mailbox. However, without Dropbox you won't be able to take advantage of the new Dropbox sync option.

And finally, no, It still doesn't have exchange support.
