Hi guys, I want to buy Nikon Cool Pix cam i love this digital camera and heard lot about its superb quality but I don't know that what is the optical zoom in new Nikon Cool Pix P 500 which is priced at $400.Please tell me what is its Optical zoom will be glad thanks in advance

What is the optical zoom offered by Nikon CoolPix?

Joe,

Nikon Cool pix P500 has a 36 x optical Zoom, using a NIKKOR Ed glass type lens design. The lens system is built from a 14 elements in 9 groups.
