Hi,
To create a short cut to an application go to the application folder. To locate your application folder if you have already installed it, go to main C drive > open program > open your application folder. Right click on the application.exe then click on send to desktop/create short cut to desktop.
Usually every new installation has options for to chose to have a short cut or not on your desktop. Kind regards. Richard
What is the process to create a windows shortcut?
Hello Tomwelton, To create a shortcut for a file in windows, it is easy. Just locate which program, document or file that you want to create its shortcut and then click on create shortcut. The shortcut will be automatically pasted on the desktop so that you can access the program, document or file easily from there. You should note that when you delete the main document or program and the shortcut remains, the shortcut will be useless. The shortcut will only work if there is its original program somewhere on the computer. Hope this helps. __ Regards Mahesh Babu
