What is a proxy site and where is it used? How can I use one proxy site? I have heard that the proxy site is used often to 

hide one's IP.Is it true? Please help me by providing the answer.

Hello,

Proxy site can be use for unrestricted web browsing. Proxy servers are using for connect the user with other servers and get the information that user’s request.

Sometime these proxy servers can be useful for block access to certain website. That time Proxy site are very functional.

Proxy site is a web site that allow you to go through the proxy server and access the restrict web sites.

Also it hides you IP address and identity.

What is a proxy site and its uses?

Hello,

Proxy site gives user a protected access to a network, as well as a way to conserve a complete privacy while browsing the internet in incognito. Proxy site has the capability to filter the internet and decline access of a certain website.
Yes, it is utilize to conceal your IP Address while online. Here’s how to do it.

In your browsing explorer, go to “Tools” menu, and then click “Internet Options”. Select and click “LAN Settings” on the Connection tab, and then select the “Use a proxy server for your LAN” checkbox under the Proxy Server. Then, type the Proxy Server’s IP Address to the Address Box, and then type “8080” (default) in the Port Box. After that, if you do not like the proxy server to be used in connecting a computer in the local network, click the “select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses” check box. To close the LAN setting and Internet Option dialogue box, click “OK”.
