What is the purpose or use of 2011 directsound?

Hi to everyone,

What is the purpose or use of 2011 direct sound? How is 2011 direct sound related to DirectX? This are some of my confusions about three weeks ago in my information technology subjects. I am not good in researching so I better ask some experts here in techyv.com.

What is the purpose or use of 2011 directsound?

 

Hi ava larry,

First I like to remove confusion about the Directsound. Basically there is nothing called 2011 directsound. And the second most important fact is directsound is a component of directX. It actually helps the directX  to run and it’s a behind the screen component. Directsound handles the mixing of sound and also the handle the recording of sound card. Hope it will help you.

What is the purpose or use of 2011 directsound?

DirectSound is very much related to DirectX in a way that it serves as a software component within DirectX. This component handles a lot of things about the audio performance within your Windows operating system, like mixing sounds, recording, echo, reverb, and interfacing with the audio hardware controllers on your main systems unit.
