What is a QR Codes ?
QR codes are abbreviated as Quick Responsive codes. These code look like square blocks of color black placed on a white big block. These are being replaced by traditional bar codes as these are quick enough to respond and data is stored reliably. These are new to market and these are mostly being used now a days in few mobile operating systems and retailers and some small business vendors. These are used as an alternative for bar codes which take time to respond but these will give us the immediate response. The amount of data that these QR codes store depends on what model we are using to generate these codes. These can be generated using 4 different modes.
What is a QR Codes ?
I see it most of the time especially when the content is for a mobile phone. When Smartphones arrive the introduction of the QR code began. It’s an image similar to the usual bar code we see in most items but here it is in a square shape. It is usually used on mobile handsets to access a download or mobile information. The literal meaning of QR code is “Quick Response Code”.
It is actually the mobile version of the traditional bar code. The square box is a mobile readable bar code which is often scanned using the Smartphone’s camera to access the record of the item associated to the QR code. The image is a 2-dimensional bar code that was first designed for the automotive industry in Japan until it became popular worldwide.
