With the new ARM Cortex A72 processor nearing its release, I would wish to know quite some things about it. First, as spped is integral in new devices, how has the new Cortex processor been adapted to handle speed needs? Which phones will be the first to have this processor? How does the Cortex A72 differ from the A57 or A15?
What’s new in ARM Cortex A72?
The Cortex A72 processor is ARM’s latest advanced processor which provides highest performance when compared to other ARM Processors.
It provides three and a half times the performance of Cortex-A15 based devices with quite a significant reduction in the power consumption.
The new improvement in performance and power-efficiency of the Cortex-A72 processor will be seen and used in scaling large and mid size tables, clamshell and convertible form factors.
NOTE: This Processor can be implemented individually or combined with Cortex A53 processor and ARM Corelink CCI Cache Coherent Interconnect in ARM big. Little configuration to improve energy efficiency.
