Earlier this year Intel released higher-end versions of its third-generation processors – Core i5 and Core i7. As you know that Intel recently announced its entry-level Ivy Bridge Core i3 processors will be available after June 24 and according to the media reports the products are scheduled for delivery in August. Intel is planning to shift 40% of the consumer notebook market to Ultra books by the end of 2012.

Moreover,I want to mention that, Ivy Bridge chips shrunk Intel's existing i5 and i7 high-performance chips from a 32nm production process to a new 22nm chip which can play a key role in designing cheaper Ultra books.

In short the result is a more efficient processor, providing great performance while consuming less power and at a lower price.

So, we can surely say that once Intel releases its new Ivy Bridge Core i3 processors, we should soon see even more affordable laptops and desktops.
