Hello experts,

What is the software for xls file viewer for mac? I am not an expert when it comes to mac operating system for I am using windows xp operating system. But I have to deal with mac operating system because we are using my laptop’s friend for our project. I need to open a file format which is .xls , can you give us some ways to get this done properly?

.xls files are Microsoft Excel files. You can use following software’s to open it.
 
1. iWork Number: This is the software for Mac to open .xls , .csv .pdf files. You can download it and open the file with it by right clicking on the file, select open with option and select Numbers from the list.
 
2. OpenOffice Calc: This software is used for handling .xls files. This works on Mac, Windows and Linux.
 
3. Microsoft Excel for Mac: You can install Microsoft Excel versions for Mac and open the .xls file.
