What Spotify is bringing today?

Hi,

Yes. They have updated their version to 0.8.3 a few months ago.

Here are the features:

• Sharing options – users can share to social networking sites like Twitter and Tumblr. Users can also easily get the embed code of a song or playlist.

 

• Spotify Radio—users can listen to music similar to their playlists through the Spotify Radio.

• Google search – Google’s search engine has also been linked to Spotify making it easier to search through instant search and suggestions.

What Spotify is bringing today?

 

For users who aren’t yet familiar with Spotify, it is a Swedish music-streaming service that provides streaming of chosen digitally-restricted music from major as well as independent record labels like Sony, EMI, and more. It’s only available in 16 countries and unfortunately my country is not one of them. Creating an account with the service will allow you unlimited play time of your favorite music for the first six months.

After that, you will now be restricted to 10 hours of listening every month. This manner of capping was introduced in April of 2011. But March of this year, they announced that they will be removing the 5 play-per-song limit. This means that users will now enjoy playing their favorite music as often as they like. Although the cap has been removed, users are still restricted to 10 hours of listening every month. The only country that still has the 5 play-per-song cap is France and the countries with no time limits include United States, New Zealand, and Australia.
