What Type Of RAM Do I Need For My Computer?

RAM is an important memory unit for any computer. It is temporary and volatile and is present in the CPU. RAM is mainly of 2 types. They are Static RAM maintains CPU cache data and Dynamic RAM. Dynamic Ram processes computer’s memory. Dynamic RAM is again of 3 kinds. They are Synchronous DRAM, Double Data Rate Synchronous DRAM and Rambus DRAM.

Synchronous DRAM occurs at the same time with the clock speed. Double Data Rate Synchronous DRAM transfers data according to the movement in clock cycle. Rambus DRAM transfers data at a faster rate. An ordinary PC consists of Dynamic RAM. Most of the laptops use DDR SDRAM. Phones use DRAM. Based on this, one needs to decide which RAM suits for their computer.
