What type of video card should I use

Hello,

What type of video card should I use on my computer for it to run on high settings? On the other hand, does an HP pavilion a 1710n require a PCI or PCI Express card? I have no clue. I would gladly appreciate any suggestions.

What can I do with a 100 budget?

What type of video card should I use

Hey Jim,

First of all, $100 won't buy you a decent GFX Card, but only a mid-profile one. It will do the trick, but won't play high-quality games. I suggest you use Nvidia products, their card is Geforce 410GT, which will make latest games playable and it will work on your machine, because it has PCI-E X16.

Also, more RAM will improve the game play on some games, and also a quad core processor will help a lot.
