Hi,

What is the use of Cs 5 nef plug in? I have an adobe cs 5 package's application such as Photoshop, audition, flash and etc. But I am curious about this cs 5 nef plug in, I want to know the advantage and the purpose of having those kind of plug in in my cs 5 application?

What is the use of cs 5 nef plug in?

Hi Kathryn,

.NEF file is basically a Nikon Raw Image File, a file format that a Nikon DSLR Cameras produced. It usually can be opened using photo editor software like Adobe Photoshop and the likes.

So to answer your question what is the use of cs5 NEF plugin? It is a preinstalled plugin that comes with the cs5 package that open Nikon Raw Image File.
