What is vb bpm counter method?

Hello,
This method is commonly used to detect beats and live BPM calculation, this is a very tricky task hence this method is usually not 100% accurate, especially when using this method with the audio signal. This is because the audio signal contains a lot of noise, the technology uses internal buffers that usually need to be filled, this makes it take approximately 1second to 20ms before getting your first results. You can also use this method to identify specific beats . Keep in mind that this method only brings ( intermediate detected beats) that ends up causing a slow jam which results to double BPM. If you have a difference of 5ms in your time interval then the resulting BPM may have a difference of about 1BPM, hence we use a BPM history buffer which we interleave and calculate the average to equalizer effect.
