What is Virtual Office Project Management and How does it Work?

Virtual Office Project Management is a system where teams (virtual teams) collaborate in a finite period of time to achieve a specific goal. Virtual teams are groups of individuals working across time and space boundaries through the use of advancement in communication technology. A virtual project is a collective effort of individuals with complementary skills to complete a specific goal over a period of time. 

"The world is flat" a book by Thomas L. Friedman shows how the world was flattened due to interconnectivity (internet) provides a clear view of Outsourcing. Outsourcing has allowed companies to split services and manufacturing activities into smaller components which can be subcontracted to teams or individuals for a more-cost efficient way.
