What is the way to hide bbm contacts?

I'm using a BlackBerry mobile phone. 

I want to hide my BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) contact list but I failed to do that. 

I can't find a way to hide it.

I already tried to split up my contact list but nothing happens. 

Any help?

What is the way to hide bbm contacts?

Dear user,

You can hide your bbm contacts by following these simple steps:

1. Add the contact that you wish to hide from your contact list under an alias.

2. Now add their pin to that contact.

You can pin message them from their contact list and their names wouldn't be shown in your in your bbm contact list.

What is the way to hide bbm contacts?

I'm not sure if there's a way to hide the BBM contacts but to put the BBM to a folder and keep it private.

Or better yet just put a security password on your BB device so no one can touch it without asking you.
