What is Windows 7 Nvidia skin panel?

Hello,

I have heard of the nvidia control panel which a hardware control application. Also during web search I saw some say that it (nvidia control panel) has caused various issues in their computers.

However, I would like to know more about the windows 7 nvidia skin panel; what it does, from where  I can download it, whether it is safe, whether it is related to the nvidia control panel and if it is related, what it does in more detail.

What is Windows 7 Nvidia skin panel?

Hello there!

NVIDIA Display Control Panel is the associated software to optimize settings of your NVIDIA Graphics card. There are 4 major settings namely, the 3D Settings, Display, Stereoscopic 3D, and Video.The 3D Setting lets you adjust how 3D images should appear. This is used in Direct3D or OpenGL feature of your pc when rendering effects of your online games like Dota, Dragonnest, Need for Speed, and NBA. The second setting is Display. This gives you options in adjusting your screen resolution, color management, display rotation, and multiple monitors. Third is the Stereoscopic 3D which will enhance the illusion of dept of specific games they support. And lastly, the Video setting which controls video contrast and color when played in a media player.
